These are the questions people most often ask before trusting Zynger. We answer each one honestly below.
Yes. Zynger is a real LGBTQ+ social and dating app for adults 18+, built by ZyngerConnect Technologies, a Bengaluru-based team. It is initially offered for users in India. Core features — nearby discovery, Message, Albums, Available, Signals, and privacy tools — are free to use. The free app may display advertisements.
Zynger is built for people who need control over who sees them. Ghost mode can hide you from discovery. Albums stay private until you grant access. App Lock (PIN or biometrics) stays on your device. You can turn off distance sharing and Viewed Me. We do not sell your personal information. Location is collected only with your permission. Messages are stored so conversations can be delivered on your devices; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Staff do not routinely browse private chats — when you report a conversation, we may review a snapshot to handle safety issues. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Use in-app Report and Block from profiles and conversations. You can specify whether the report is about a profile, photo, chat, or media. Profile photos go through a moderation queue in production. Harassment, scams, fake profiles, child sexual abuse and exploitation, and content involving minors are not allowed. See Community Guidelines and Child Safety Standards. No flashy marketing.
No TV ads, no celebrity endorsements, no billboards. We build, users tell users, it grows.
Privacy is structural.
Data isn’t sold. Staff do not routinely browse private chats. You can delete your account in the app under You → Settings → Delete account, or at zyngerconnect.com/delete-account after verifying the email on the account.
Humans in the loop.
Photo moderation and fraud/safety reports are reviewed by people, not only automated filters. Reports get responses.
